Officially done breastfeeding

I’ll have to admit that I am very proud of myself for breastfeeding as long as I did. Even though it was only 4 months, I have to keep telling myself 4 months was better then none. Breastfeeding is not easy and takes a lot of commitment. Rayce started to wean himself around 3 months. He would refuse to breastfeed in the day and would only nurse at night and first thing in the morning, which was fine with me because some breast milk was better then none. Then, when we made the transition from my bed to his crib he no longer wanted to nurse at night or at all for that matter. A huge part of me was real sad because that was our moment to bond and spend time together. Something that only I could give him but what could I do? So anyway it’s now onto baby food and rice cereal. Here are some really cute pics of Rayce and carrots!
